Submitting Papers and Posters

The deadline for registering regular submitted paper and poster presentations has passed.

For the 2010 Annual Meeting, an individual may make one volunteer oral presentation, one poster presentation, and one invited oral presentation. The individual may be an author on other presentations, but not a speaker on them.

Students can update registered paper or poster abstracts until October 25 by clicking one of the links below for the appropriate category.

Virtual Posters

The deadline to submit a Virtual Poster is August 20, 2010. This opportunity is designed specifically to enable those entomologists outside of North America to present their work at the ESA meeting. “Virtual Posters” involve the electronic submission of a presentation in a standard PDF format. Once the presentation is accepted, it will be available for viewing by all attendees at the next Annual Meeting of the ESA in December. Furthermore, you will have an allotted time to be virtually present, via live Internet video, and to discuss your research results with your colleagues in the U.S. You will be able to see them and they will see you. Finally, although the official language of the conference will be in English, online translation services will be available.
