Preparing for the March for Science

Speakers from ESA, Lewis-Burke Associates, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) discuss the logistics of the March, best practices for non-partisan advocacy on behalf of science, and advice for productively engaging with the media during and after the March. Chris Stelzig, ESA Director of Strategic Initiatives, speaks on ESA’s support of the March for Science and shares logistical information for those joining ESA at the March in D.C. 

Erin Cadwalader, Jason Gallagher, and Nick Saab from Lewis-Burke Associates speak on best practices for nonpartisan advocacy for science and how March supporters can continue to be involved in ESA’s science policy efforts after April 22. 

Emily Cloyd, Project Director for Public Engagement at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), shares advice on how to effectively engage with the media in support of science during and after the March.
