International Branch Early Career Research and Leadership Award
An award will be provided in recognition of leadership in entomology at an early career level. The award includes a $2,000 USD grant, to be used either as seed funding for research purposes or to attend a conference, and an award plaque.
Eligibility: The nominee must be a current member in good standing of the International Branch of the Entomological Society of America, and within five years of earning their last postgraduate degree or qualitification (BCE, MSc, or PhD), adjusting for career interruptions due to illness or caregiving responsibilities.
The International Branch is in a position to offer a modest amount of conference sponsorship to its members for initiatives that promote leadership in entomology and equity in insect science. Please apply 6 months in advance of the date the funds are needed to ensure adequate time for review, and note no funding is guaranteed.
