Early Career Professional Awards

Each year the Entomological Society of America offers a variety of Early Career Professional (ECP) awards.  All ECP awards are listed here, along with a brief description of the eligibility for each award.  For full details on each award, visit the award page directly. 

Deadline - June 1 Annually
The nominee must be a current ESA member, and must be between two and ten years past the last degree (B.S., M.S. or Ph.D.) obtained working within the field of entomology (including postdoctoral positions).
Deadline - June 1 Annually
The nominee must be a current ESA Student Transition or Early Professional (ECP) member.  Eligible members can apply the year following their terminal degree (B.S., M.S. or PhD.) or within five years of degree completion. [For the 2024 awards season only, individuals within 6 years of degree completion are eligible for the award]

A nominee must be an ESA member and postdoctoral scholar, working in insect control by attractants, repellents, biological controls, thermocontrols, or chemical controls.
