The 2025 Invasive Ant Boot Camp will be held from May 6-8, 2026, at the University of Florida in Gainesville. This intensive three-day workshop, led by Dr. Andrea Lucky and a team of specialists in pest control, policy, and ant ecology, focuses on the identification and management of invasive ant species. Gain hands-on experience with some of the world's most problematic invasive and tramp ants through a combination of expert-led lectures, field trips, and lab sessions.

The 3rd International Molecular Plant Protection Congress (IMPPC2026) will be held on May 17–21, 2026, at the Kremlin Palace in Antalya, Türkiye—an iconic Mediterranean venue celebrated for its stunning coastline, cultural vibrancy, and exceptional hospitality. The congress is co-organized by Ankara University and three distinguished institutions under the Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry: the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies, the General Directorate of Food and Control, and the Department of Training and Publication.

This year’s program will gather over 90 keynote speakers from across the globe, including three distinguished Nobel Laureates. The Opening Lecture will be delivered by Prof. Brian Kobilka (2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry) for his groundbreaking research on G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), while Prof. Martin Chalfie Chalfie (2008 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, for GFP) and Prof. Craig C. Mello Mello (2006 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, for RNAi) will each contribute unique perspectives on discoveries that shaped modern biology. The scientific program will feature cutting-edge symposia and invited talks spanning topics such as dsRNA- and peptide-based biopesticides, microbial and symbiont-based technologies, enzyme platforms, and precision diagnostics. 

The University of Idaho (UI) Institute for Health in the Human Ecosystem (IHHE) is hosting its annual Biology of Vector-borne Diseases six-day course, Monday through Saturday, June 15-20, 2026, on the UI campus in Moscow, Idaho .

Accessible, condensed training and "knowledge networking" for advanced graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, new faculty, and current professionals to ensure competency in basic biology and cutting-edge knowledge for U.S. and global vector-borne diseases of plants, animals, and humans.

Scholarships: Individuals who submit their applications by Dec. 31, 2025, will be evaluated for scholarships. The National Science Foundation (NSF) funds our scholarships to support the course fee which includes course materials, meals during the course, accommodation and financial support toward travel. Accepted applicants who are awarded scholarships will be notified through email by February 16, 2026.

About: The13th European Congress of Entomology (ECE) will be held at the Le Vinci Congress Centre in Tours, France from June 28 - July 3, 2026.

The Organizing Committee of the XIII European Congress of Entomology, the French Entomological Society and the Praesidium for European Entomology, will host the XIII European Congress of Entomology in Tours, France, from June 29 to July 3, 2026.

The "Tropical and Neglected Infectious Diseases: An Integrated One Health Approach to Public Health" course will be held at the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, from July 9 to July 30, 2026. This interdisciplinary course provides a comprehensive overview of infectious diseases and public health, grounded in the One Health approach.

Fly School is a two week course open to all who are interested, covering family-level identification, morphology, natural history, ecology, collecting methods, specimen preparation and curation, and other topics through lectures, fieldwork, and lab.

The next ISH congress will take place August 10-14, 2026, in Mexico City at the Instituto de Biología, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
