2026 Branch Officer Election Results
Congratulations to members of the Entomological Society of America who were recently elected to Branch Officer positions beginning in March 2026. The electronic ballot period for members began on January 7 and was completed on February 8.

Faith Oi Elected as Next Vice President-Elect of Entomological Society of America
Annapolis, MD; August 28, 2025—Faith Oi, extension professor at the University of Florida, has been elected by members of the Entomological Society of America as the organization's next Vice President-Elect. ESA members also elected five other entomologists to begin or continue positions on the ESA Governing Board: Scott O'Neal, Jasleen Kaur, Erika Machtinger, David Crowder, and Cheri Abraham.
2025-2026 ESA Elections Results
Congratulations to the members of the Entomological Society of America recently elected to volunteer positions beginning in November 2025. The electronic ballot period for members began July 14 and was completed August 13. All elected candidates begin their roles upon the completion of the ESA Annual Meeting, Entomology 2025, November 9-12 in Portland, Oregon.

Annapolis, MD; August 29, 2024—Andrew Short, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Entomology and Nematology Department at the University of Florida, has been elected by members of the Entomological Society of America as the organization's next Vice President-Elect. ESA members also elected five other entomologists to begin or continue positions on the ESA Governing Board.
