With a free Zoom account, you can initiate a Zoom meeting without any other participants, and you still have all of Zoom’s presentation tools at your disposal, as well as the ability to record. Zoom has tools that make screen sharing, recording, and annotations simple.
Do you want to attend the ESA’s Annual Meeting, Entomology 2021, but need to justify the investment to your employer? ESA is excited to announce the winners of this year's award symposia: Rising Stars of Entomology and Early Career Professional Recognition Symposium. We look forward to their featured 30-minute presentations at Entomology 2021.
This juried symposium will feature four presentations of Student Transition and Early Professional members of ESA, one from each Section, who will be selected to give a 30-minute feature presentation describing their research programs in this special symposium. Additional information will be required, including an abstract, 1-page cover letter, and CV. Winners will receive a $500 travel stipend.
Awards will be granted to five master’s students and five doctoral students from each ESA Section (two from P-IE) to showcase their research in the Rising Stars of Entomology Award Symposium (RSEAS) at the ESA Annual Meeting. This award is intended for graduate students who are near the end of their programs. Students will have the opportunity to expand upon their research beyond the restrictive 10-minutes of the student competitions and gain valuable experience for future career presentations.
