Insect Detection, Evaluation and Prediction Committee, ESA Eastern Branch
1. This Committee shall consist of three members experienced in Branch activities and knowledgeable in Branch financial matters. Each member serves a three-year term. One new member is appointed annually by the Branch President, who also names the Committee Chair.
1. The Constitution and Bylaws Committee consists of three members each serving for three years in staggered terms. The Committee shall be chaired by the person entering his/her third year of membership on the Committee. The Eastern Branch Parliamentarian shall be an ex officio member.

The sole and only purpose of the Auditing Committee is to check the financial records of the Society and to determine whether they are in order. The results of the audit are reported to the membership at the Annual Meeting.
Each year the Eastern Branch recognizes members who have achieved distinction in their respective fields. Among these are several Eastern Branch nominees for ESA Distinguished Achievement Awards (see the ESA Awards Page for details on the national awards), two Eastern Branch awards for distinguished achievement and service, the L. O. Howard Distinguished Achievement Award and the Herb T.
Meeting was called to order by President Kurt Volker.
A quorum was declared.
President Volker thanked all the volunteers that serve the Pacific Branch, in particular the Committee Chairs, Symposia Organizers, Secretary/Treasurer Brian Bret, Arrangements/Operations Chair Steve Watkins, and Program Chair David Byrne.
