Annapolis, MD; November 29, 2021—In pursuit of our strategic principle that ESA has a social responsibility to develop all of its members, last month the Governing Board approved a new Ethics Statement and Policy that strengthens ESA's commitment to making entomology a welcoming discipline for all. The provisions in this new document mark some of the most significant advancements ESA has made toward enabling greater equity and inclusion in our Society in many years.
New Certificate Program Showcases Integrated Pest Management Skill
Annapolis, MD; November 1, 2021—Pest management professionals have a new opportunity to jumpstart their careers through the Certified Integrated Pest Management Technician credential from the Entomological Society of America Certification Corporation. Designed for professionals with less than five years' experience in pest management, the Certified IPM Technician (CIT) credential demonstrates a foundational skillset and commitment to the principles and practices of integrated pest management (IPM).
