Incoming P-IE Representative to the Insect Systematics and Diversity Editorial Board

Scott Bundy received his Master’s degree in Zoology from Southern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Georgia.  Currently, he is a professor of entomology at New Mexico State University (NMSU) and Director of the NMSU Arthropod Collection in the Department of Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Weed Science, where he has been employed since 2000.  His research foci include IPM of arthropods impacting field crops, particularly alfalfa and cotton, and the bionomics, morphology, and taxonomy of the Heteroptera.  He also has taught several courses in entomology and pest management.  Scott is active on several committees at the branch and national levels of ESA, serving as member or chair of 12 committees for ESA, including ESA Editorial Board Member. He has served as President, Vice-President, and Treasurer for the Southwestern Branch of the ESA, President of the Society of Southwestern Entomologists, and is the Treasurer of the International Heteropterists’ Society.
